​As the starting point of the world-famous Grossglockner High Alpine Road, Fusch attracts numerous visitors every year. The views of the
mountain world of the Hohe Tauern are spectacular. The absolute highlight of the road is the Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Höhe. Here you can get within touching distance of the Großglockner, Austria's highest mountain at 3,798 m Austria's highest mountain,
within reach. Another special feature is the Ferleiten high valley. With its protected areas, rare
orchid species and idyllic marshy meadows - unique flora in Europe - the valley is one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Hohe Tauern.
